BA5′s
The most widely held and well known Chamber of Commerce event is the BA5 or business after 5 meetings. BA5′s are a chance for members to touch base with each other and network in a relaxed environment. In many cases a different member business will host the BA5 each week, some simply have informal drinks and nibbles and other businesses take the opportunity to launch new products or services to their members.

Annual Awards Dinner’s
Most chambers hold an annual awards dinner to honour the high achievers amongst their local membership. These awards not only serve to honour the recipients but also serve to inspire and encourage all members to strive to greater achievements. The annual awards dinners usually have a guest speaker of some note and also entertainment following the official part of proceedings so that members can celebrate their achievements for the year together.

Breakfast Meetings
Many chambers also hold frequent business breakfast meetings, these meetings usually feature a guest with a particular expertise to deliver a brief presentation on a pacific subject. These subjects range from business planning through help with computer software decisions and implementation.
